Alzheimer’s Toronto – Annual General Meeting

Monday, June 22 at 5:30 p.m. for the Annual General Meeting to learn about how the Alzheimer’s Society makes a difference for families impacted by dementia. .

You can also stay for an exclusive lecture by Hugo van Waarde, RN, MSc, who will be discussing Alternative Housing for Persons with Dementia in the Netherlands.

Hugo van Warde has a rich history in dementia care including working as the manager of the Antonm Pieck-hofie facility in Haarlem, participating in European working groups and developing alternate housing for people with dementia. In 2007 he started the WarmThuis (translated to “Warm Home”) Foundation and currently works as an independent advisor in elderly care.
